The first book is a book by Napoleon Hill titled “The Law of Success” and the second one is a book by Deepak Chopra, called “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”.
“The Law of Success”
Many of you have already heard about the pioneer of positive thinking Napoleon Hill and his book “Think and Grow Rich”, but, the things that he wrote in his previous book, “The Law of Success” are the things that should be the foundation for every person who wants to create a positive success mindset. That’s why today we will be focusing on the ideas from the “Law of Success”. In this book, Napoleon Hill gave us sixteen important lessons that help create a positive mindset, a mindset of a successful person.
Lesson One: The Master Mind
This lesson says that if we believe that we can do something then we can do it! The Mastermind is a mind that is developed through the harmonious co-operation of two or more people, who ally themselves for a higher purpose. The goal of those people is to accomplish any given task. So, the Mastermind is the co-operation of two or more minds joining in a harmonious way. When two or more minds are together, they are stronger than just one mind. But, this rule applies only to the minds with mutual interest and the minds to believe one to another.
Lesson Two: Your Definite Chief Aim
You should always set an objective before you can achieve it. If you don’t have a solid aim, if you don’t have an aim to focus on, then probably you will not be able to achieve it. First, you need to find out what it is that you want, you have to focus on that, and then you will be ready to receive it. You can observe your aim as a prayer if that’s easier for you.
Lesson Three: Self Confidence
You must believe in yourself! You must be sure, you must convince yourself that you deserve to be successful. If you don’t have self- confidence, then you must build it, if you want to be a successful person.
Lesson Four: The Habit of Saving
You don’t have to spend all your money right away. And you shouldn’t do that. Don’t spend all of your savings on the things that you can’t afford. Wait for a little while, soon enough you will be able to buy anything you want. But before that, make sure that you have developed the habit of saving.
Lesson Five: Initiative and Leadership
Don’t be afraid to be a true leader. We all know that leaders can be cruel from time to time but that it’s the leader’s job. It is ok to be „the bad guy“ from time to time, if that it’s something that will bring success.
Lesson Six: Imagination
If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Nothing is impossible. Dream, imagine, set high goals for yourself. If you can picture it in your mind, be sure- you can achieve it in your reality. Never forget that nothing is impossible. The more you dream, the more successful you will become.
Lesson Seven: Enthusiasm
Be passionate, be enthusiastic, enjoy the things that you are doing! The more enthusiastic you are, the faster you will achieve your goals. Feel good about yourself, feel good about the decisions you’re bringing, enjoy! Mixing your job with enthusiasm will bring you amazing results in a short time period. If you want to be successful, then you must love your job first.
Lesson Eight: Self Control
Control your conscious and your subconscious. Pay attention to all the negative beliefs that you may be dealing with, regarding the job and the success. If you notice any negative belief in your mind that is blocking your success, try to eliminate it, try to transform it into a positive belief. Change all the bad habits that you have. Control your thoughts and don’t allow them to take control of your success. Choose only the thoughts that are helping you in becoming a more successful person.
Lesson Nine: Habit Of Doing More Than Paid For
Many people are complaining about how they are spending „too much time working“. Don’t be one of those people. Don’t complain about how you are working too much and how you are not earning enough. If you do that, stop it right away. Do you know why this is so important? Because the ones who are successful never do those things! Only hardworking people who are not complaining are the ones who are truly successful!
Lesson Ten: Pleasing Personality
You must cultivate a pleasing personality – your outward appearance is very important. Pay attention to the clothes you’re wearing, to the way you shake hands, to your facial expression, to the vitality of your body. All in all, pay attention to your appearance.
Lesson Eleven: Accurate Thought
Basically, what it is that you need to do here is to sort facts from information, and to use auto-suggestion in conjunction with focused thoughts. Make sure to become an Accurate Thinker- develop the habit of concentration on the accurate thoughts that are based upon facts. You should know that the accurate thought is the thought that comes from your own creation, not from other people.
Lesson Twelve: Concentration
You need to concentrate, you need to focus your mind upon a given desire until the ways for its realization have been worked out. There are two important laws that are a part of this- your auto-suggestion and your habit.
Lesson Thirteen: Cooperation
If you want to become successful, then you must know that the co-operation between you and the other people is necessary. You simply can’t do all by yourself. Be open to the fact that there are other people who can help you to achieve your goal.
Lesson Fourteen: Failure
Name one single person who succeeded and never failed. You can’t because that is impossible. Failure is inevitable in your journey to success. Don’ t give up when you fail, don’t be disappointed, because that is a part of the path.
Lesson Fifteen: Tolerance
You must be a person without any prejudice if you want to become successful. Observe the best in the people who are surrounding you, don’t focus on their flaws, and erase all the prejudice. Focus on your goal and on the other people’s virtues that can help you to achieve that goal.
Lesson Sixteen: The Golden Rule
The last lesson, the Golden Rule says that: „Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.“ „Do not unto others that which you would not have them do unto you.“

“The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”
To improve our mindset, we can also use the tips and tricks that Deepak Chopra gave us in his book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” According to Chopra, there are seven important Laws of Success: The Law of Pure Potentiality, The Law of Giving, The Law of Karma, The Law of Least Effort, The Law of Intention and Desire, The Law of Detachment and the last one, the Law of Darma. Now, we will explain each of the Laws.
The First Law of the seven spiritual laws of success is, the Law of Pure Potentiality means that we should pay attention to the pure potentiality lying down inside each of us and we should use that potentiality. To do that, we need to stop observing the object and we need to start observing the soul. When we turn to our inner being, to our soul, to our feelings, that is when we will start to use our potentiality.
The Law of Giving says that if we want to get something, we first need to give something. The process of giving and receiving is dynamic, and if we want to become successful, if we want to attract the abundance, then we must behave like we already are living a life full of different abundance, we need to give things to the world if we want to receive more things.
The third Law, the Law of Karma says that every action has its reaction. Meaning that everything that we do will have its effect. “Life is a boomerang, what you give is what you will get” is a sentence that can describe the Law of Karma. That means that, if we want to attract and manifest love, health, money, or anything else, first we need to “throw a boomerang” of that same thing.
Law number four is the Law of Least Effort. According to this Law, we can use the minimum effort to get the maximum of abundance, meaning that we don’t have to try too hard. With a minimum effort, we can easily manifest the maximum of all of the things that we want.
Next Law is The Law of Intention and Desire that can be described as a continuous expansion of the emotions of happiness and abundance. According to this Law, everything that is surrounding us is based on the fact that everything around us is energy and information, and with controlling and transforming the energy and the information, we can directly influence the manifestations in our life.
The Law of Detachment means that we should allow ourselves and others the freedom to be who we are. We shouldn’t force anything because everything will happen spontaneously. In the Law of Detachment, freedom is the key.
The last one, the Law of Karma, says that we should pay attention to our life purpose and that we should respect it.
Remember that truly successful people are the ones who have a strong successful mindset. If you are not one of those people, it doesn’t mean that you can become one of them. Nothing happens overnight. If you put enough time and effort into creating a successful mindset, be sure that you will achieve the results. Just follow the rules from Napoleon Hill or Deepak Chopra, and create a successful mindset! So there you have it the seven spiritual laws of success for you to use in your life from today onwards.
