So you can start making some progress in finding contacts and making some progress in finding an outlet for your feelings. Make it happen, and then you can go on to the next step.

Making contact with others is an integral part of being successful. When you don’t have people who are going to keep you grounded, you don’t have anyone to stand behind you. To help you. People, by nature, are supportive. You’re going to want people who are going to be there for you when you need them the most. It’s a fact of life. It’s how people survive. So by default, you need people who are going to be there for you. If you don’t have that, you’re in trouble.

Now, no one is going to abandon you on your own. That’s never going to happen. And people will always be there to help you. But you might not be recognizing that you need help. That’s a problem. If you don’t acknowledge that you need support, then nobody else will. And you’re in trouble. Making contact with others is an art. It’s not a simple task. It’s a skill you need to learn. It’s a life skill. You have to find people who will be there for you when you need them, then you need to find people to be there for you. By doing that, you’re all set. You have a support system which is going to stand behind you no matter what. You’re all set. You’re set to the max.

There’s no way in hell you’re going to discover every source of stress in your life by yourself. You’re going to need help. Look around. There’s people who are going to be there for you when you need them. If they’re not in your life, then don’t pretend that they are. You need to recognize that you’re stressed, so you can work out a plan of action to get yourself back in a state of calm.

This stress isn’t going to simply go away. If you don’t deal with it, it’s going to affect every area of your life. So, you have to learn how to deal with it.

> “The real secret of stress is to find the source, face it head on, and turn it upside down.”

Don’t pretend that this is going to be easy. And, don’t settle for less than what you need. This is not a one-day event. This is a life skill you need to develop.

Now, if you’re starting out, you might have some doubts about whether you can handle the task. A lot of people experience the same symptoms of stress, but they just brush it off as they’re not strong enough. What they’re not realizing is that it’s a skill they need to learn. And, it’s something they can learn, too. There are no limits. There’s no end date. There’s no starting point. You can start whenever you want.
